ELISE LOEHNEN is an author and host of the podcast Pulling the Thread, where she interviews cultural luminaries about the big questions of today. She is the author of the New York Times bestseller On Our Best Behavior: The Seven Deadly Sins and The Price Women Pay to be Good, and the co-author of 12 additional books. Her previous roles include Chief Content Officer of goop, where she co-hosted The goop Podcast and The goop Lab on Netflix, Editorial Projects Director of Conde Nast Traveler, and Editor At Large and Deputy Editor of Lucky Magazine. Elise serves on two boards (Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams and Skinfix), advises a beauty bio-tech start-up (Arcaea), and spends her time writing, reading, and fundraising for environmental action, social justice, women and children’s health, and a more equitable world. Elise lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Rob, and their sons, Max and Sam.
